Offended ≠ Right

Remember when political correctness meant being considerate... not walking on eggshells?
Now, it feels like the default setting is "I'm offended, so I'm right."
BUT... Is it?
Being offended doesn’t automatically make you wise, virtuous, or even correct.
And most of the time, it's not about being right or wrong.
It's about whether we’re thinking clearly, or just reacting emotionally.
Somewhere along the line, we traded critical thinking for cancel-ready slogans.
We stopped asking, “What can I learn here?”
And started declaring, “How dare you make me feel uncomfortable!”
Growth requires discomfort.
Just like muscles need resistance to grow,
your mind needs challenge to evolve.
So ask yourself:
What reference points are you using to navigate life?
Are they yours... or just borrowed from the loudest voice in the room? And how are you using them?
Because learning to use your brain — on purpose — might be the most radical act of all these days.
