The Fork You Can’t Avoid

This year didn’t ask politely.

It rearranged things.

It asked for honesty.

It made it impossible to keep postponing the important parts of life.

I had to change my programs — not because of strategy, but because life had other projects for me.

You can hide. But you don’t escape.

The Stoics understood this deeply. They didn’t talk about comfort. They talked about alignment — about choosing what is right over what is easy.

In most modern times I heard the following: what you avoid continues to shape your nervous system, your decisions, your identity.

At some point, everyone reaches a fork in the road. Between desire and responsibility. Between what you want and what you know.

This writing is about gratitude.

For the people I met this year. For the unexpected events that stripped illusion. For love. For faith in something larger than my own plans.

And for the family who welcomed me, cared for me, and gave me refuge in the last days of this year —your generosity changed me more than you know.

I’m choosing to let go. To be lighter. To move into 2026 with fewer excuses and more truth.

The link here below exists only to remove friction —so when you know it’s time to act, you don’t negotiate with yourself.

Thank you for walking part of this year with me.

Onward. Upward.
