The Furnace

Thanks for the lesson.

In November last year, I met someone who offered to train me.

The training truly began at the end of January this year.

For fifteen years I hadn’t seen 62kg on the scale.

In two weeks, I did.

The method was intense.

Not elegant.

Not comfortable.

Not something I would casually recommend.

But it worked.

And more importantly, it forged something much deeper than physical change.

It revealed identity pressure points.

There are moments in life when intensity rises beyond preference. When circumstances tighten, expectations collapse, and internal resources are tested.

In those moments, you either fragment… or consolidate.

Consolidation means everything unnecessary burns off.

Physically, I recalibrated.

Mentally, I sharpened because I had no choice.

Energetically, excess noise disappeared.

Identity-wise, something shifted into a higher gear.

Pressure exposes structure.

And one belief became non-negotiable:

Whatever is happening is happening for my benefit.

Not as blind positivity.

Not as denial.

But as radical ownership.

If something collapses, it is clearing space.

If something shifts, it is revealing truth.

If something hurts, it is strengthening structure.

You cannot step into a new identity while negotiating with the old one.

And you cannot create space for what is coming while emotionally cluttered with what was.

Congruency has always mattered to me.

What changed is not the value.

What changed is the embodiment.

And one more refinement became clear:

Trust behaviour.

Not words.

Not intensity.

Not promises.

Behaviour.

Growth is rarely poetic while you’re inside it.

But once you rise, you realize the furnace was necessary.

The circle continues.

Life — a wonderful illusion, a demanding playground.

Change before extinction.
