THE SPOON

There’s a scene in The Matrix where a kid says:

“There is no spoon.”

... And it took me 27 years to figure it out (talking about better late than never...)

Most people take it as something abstract.

It’s not.

The spoon doesn’t bend.

He does.

Like a mirror, the reflection doesn’t move on its own.

You move… and it follows. You smile, it smiles back.

It’s not what happens that defines your experience.

It’s how you process what happens and what you do with it... And what you do next.

This changes events.

This changes outcomes.

This changes reactions.

Life doesn’t initiate.

It responds.

And once you see that…

you stop trying to control everything outside of you.

And you start focus on what YOU are doing.

As above, so below, As within, so without, As the universe, so the soul.

That’s where change actually begins.
